Your UIS campus NetID and password are your Blackboard username and password. It is the same information you use to access UIS Email.

Visit http://www.uis.edu/cts/netid to verify or establish your UIS NetID and password.

Summer 2006 and later courses are available here, on the current version of Blackboard (Version 7.3). If you do not see your course, and you want it copied, please contact COLRS.

Backpack was impairing the stability of Blackboard, and had to be disabled to ensure Blackboard would continue to be a stable and reliable environment for online classes.

Backpack and Blackboard each seem to be waiting for the other to fix the problem. Until one of the companies fixes the problem, UIS cannot risk damage to the entire learning management system. UIS continues to monitor the situation, but does not anticipate a timely resolution.
